Even in winter you can take nice walks, either on foot or with snowshoes. Walking, you can reach the Champlève Nordic ski trail, which is only half mile away and has a gentle slope suitable for everyone. Otherwise, you can walk to Cheneil and go to the alpine hut there, which is located in a valley, for a distance of about 2.5 miles, more challenging, especially in the last section, which, despite being a few hundred meters, is steep and covered with snow and ice, which require appropriate shoes and, preferably, the snowshoes.
Up to this point everyone, however, can take a nice long walk in the woods. If you have snowshoes, you can walk all the time in the woods, surrounded by a magic landscape, dominated by the silence and the white snow. Of course you can choose other trails, which are within everyone's reach. Of course if you have snowshoes (which you can also rent or buy at any sporting goods store) and enthusiasm, opportunities increased dramatically and you can climb up on snow-covered trails or reach spots not otherwise accessible on foot in winter and your eyes will be delighted with unforgettable landscapes, which you will want to capture with your cameras.
